See these hands

See These Hands (All I want is You) – Erin Ursel

A few years ago I sat in my office listening to a cd of musical-musings that a friend of mine had recorded. There were bits and pieces of musical ideas, riffs and runs, hooks and musical melodies, that upon hearing, I immediately began to pray and worship God – I guess his worshipful expression led me to a very powerful time of prayer and praise myself.

At some point during the time I sat there, I looked up and caught a reflection of my hands in my office-window. In that moment I had a revelation that was conceptualized in a song. I began to understand how my life is God’s – every part of my body, my soul, my Spirit, my heart, my mind….you get the idea…is His, and it’s for worship. My life is His, completely. I wrote this song that night. It happens to be my favorite song (that I have written) and we have finally recorded it in a way that captures the heart and the Spirit in which it was birthed. It is full of life and revelation and it communicates my heart and the desire I have to give God all that am for His glory, always.

I really hope you like it, but more importantly, I hope you hear the message and that it leads you to an understanding of why you were created and how it is that we can live to worship God…our amazing Father, our Creator. Not to mention how much He loves you and how much He desires to be in a love-relationship with you.

See these hands (All I want is You)

Verse 1:
See these hands, they were made to praise You
See these feet, they were made to follow You
See this heart, it was made to love You
My whole life was made for You

Verse 2:
See these eyes, they were made to seek You
See this mouth, it was made to honor You
See these ears, they were made to hear Your voice
I was made for You

Chorus:
All I am, all I do, all for You
All I want to do
Is love You more
With every day I live
I’m living just for You

Bridge:
All I want is You
All I want is You
(repeat)
I’m living just for You
